NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a motivated Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) for the Ophthalmology Outpatient Department at Gartnavel General Hospital. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team, providing essential support to the registered nursing staff and assisting with various patient care needs in a busy clinical environment. While prior experience in HCSW roles is desirable, it is not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, a flexible mindset, and a genuine interest in ophthalmology.

This position requires the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment, as shifts will be scheduled from Monday to Saturday. NHS Scotland is also implementing a reduction of the full-time working week to 37 hours, effective from April 2024, with corresponding adjustments for part-time roles.
