TipTopJob is seeking a dedicated Assistant Care Home Manager in Kilmarnock, Scotland, to support the operations of a reputable residential home catering to adults with learning disabilities and potentially other health needs. The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification. Key responsibilities include ensuring the smooth running of the service, assisting the Registered Manager with service provision, managing staff rotas, and engaging with stakeholders. A strong understanding of person-centred care and prior managerial experience in a similar role is preferred.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate of £13.10, equating to an annual salary of £25,545 for a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week. An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Care Home Manager to work in an exceptional residential home based in the Kilmarnock, Scotland area. You will be working for one of UKs leading health care providers

This home offers residential support for adults with a primary learning disability diagnosis, who may also have physical health needs, or be on the autism spectrum

To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent

As the Deputy Care Home Manager your key responsibilities include:

Ensure a smooth and efficient running of the service
Support the Registered Manager by being responsible for key areas of service provision and in their absence being responsible for the overall service, including providing, managing and coordinating of support for residents
Good understanding of budgets, along with the ability to manage rotas, lead a team of staff and be able to meet with internal and external stakeholders when required

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

Have an understanding of person centred, needs:led and outcome based service
Committed to quality care and service provision
Able to work under pressure
Able to maintain confidentiality
Demonstrable and proven managerial experience within a similar role and to have had responsibilities for the management and supervision of a staff team
