Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Qualified Newborn Hearing Screener to join their team on a temporary basis during maternity leave. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting hearing screenings for newborns in various settings, including the Post-Natal Ward, Delivery Suite, NICU, and outpatient departments. The role involves accurately recording test results, communicating findings to parents and healthcare professionals, facilitating referrals to the Audiology Department as necessary, and addressing any parental concerns in a sensitive manner.
