NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) is seeking a Healthcare Assistant for their mobile blood donation team based in Horsham. The role is crucial for providing exceptional care to volunteer blood donors, contributing to the collection of over 7,000 blood donations daily.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn and perform hands-on healthcare skills, including setup for donation sessions and assisting in blood collection.
  • Serve as the first point of care for donors, ensuring accurate records and safe handling of blood products and equipment.
  • Work variable hours, including evenings and weekends, without night shifts, alongside medical professionals in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service and public interaction.
