The Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking a motivated Medical Secretary to join the Neurology service in Newport. The role involves providing comprehensive secretarial support to the consultant team and junior medical staff, including organizing tasks and managing workload to ensure high-quality service delivery to patients. Ideal candidates should possess previous medical secretarial experience, excellent administrative skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant databases. Strong verbal and written communication skills, a clear understanding of patient confidentiality, and the ability to work to deadlines are essential.
