The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a full-time Ward Clerk (XN02) for the Leeds Clinical Research Facility at St James University Hospital. The role is permanent and primarily involves coordinating patient attendance and discharge, providing administrative support to the nursing team, and ensuring compliance with high patient care standards in accordance with Trust policies and clinical research guidelines. The ideal candidate will have previous clerical experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to contributing to a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering quality clinical care.

The position requires administrative duties such as recording staff and patient activity data, liaising with various departments, and facilitating an effective care environment. Candidates should possess a good command of English, be literate and numerate, and ideally have NVQ level 2 or equivalent experience in an office or customer care setting.
