NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a Higher Level Healthcare Science Support Worker for a 12-month fixed-term position at Clyde Haematology in Paisley. The role involves supporting Biomedical Scientists in Haematology and Blood Transfusion, ensuring the provision of a 24/7 service. Candidates should possess good communication skills and manual dexterity, along with a minimum of three Highers at Grade C or above in subjects including Chemistry or Biology, or relevant qualifications such as an SVQ3 in a science subject or completion of a modern apprenticeship in life sciences.

The working hours will be adjusted to a 37-hour week starting from April 2024, although temporary extensions may occur in some service areas.
