This is a fixed-term post of 12 months.

Clyde Haematology is looking for an individual to work as a Biomedical Support Worker. This post requires good communication skills and dexterity and will support the Biomedical Scientists in both Haematology and Blood Transfusion to provide this 24/7 service. Minimum qualifications required for post are 3 Highers at Grade C or above, which should include either Chemistry or Biology together with Maths, or an SVQ3 in relevant science subject, or completion of a modern apprenticeship in life sciences, or completion of equivalent accredited education / learning.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
