The Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Banbury is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Dispensary Pharmacy Assistant to join their dedicated pharmacy team at Horton Hospital. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a hospital or community pharmacy and hold an NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy services or an equivalent qualification. The role involves supporting the dispensary operations by assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications, managing stock, and providing excellent customer service to both service users and clinical staff.

The Pharmacy Assistant will work under the direction of the Dispensary Coordinator and Senior Technician, contributing to the training of pharmacy apprentices and supporting various dispensary and stores functions. This position requires strong communication skills, as the successful applicant will also handle phone inquiries and cover outpatient reception.
