Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is looking for candidates to fill two Trust Doctor positions in the Department of Gastrointestinal Radiology, starting in September 2025. These are 12-month fixed-term roles for candidates who are fully registered with the General Medical Council and have a license to practice. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality gastrointestinal radiology services, collaborating closely with consultant radiologists, and developing a specialist interest in gastrointestinal radiology. They will engage in the Radiology HST teaching program, participate in clinical research and audits, and assist in the education of junior medical staff. The positions will be based at St. James's University Hospital and Leeds General Infirmary, with clinical sessions totaling 33.65 hours per week, plus additional time for studies, teaching preparation, and research.

Additional qualifications include a minimum of 4.5 years of experience in a recognized Radiology Training Scheme, attainment of MBBS or equivalent qualifications, and evidence of completed FRCR or equivalent. Candidates should also demonstrate involvement in research and have relevant extracurricular achievements in the field. The role offers no on-call commitments, focusing on professional development in imaging techniques including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, MRI, and CT.
