The Assistant Psychologist role at Bridgeway Health Services in North Shields offers a structured environment with professional supervision, guidance, and personalized development plans to support career advancement. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree that qualifies for graduate registration with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and will work autonomously following professional guidelines. The service also promotes regional doctorate program placements and may have additional opportunities within the Clinical Health Psychology service.

Assistant psychologists in the service are supported with a clear structure of clinical supervision and professional guidance, and individual personal development plans. You will be appraised regularly and support will be given for career development. The service has links with the regional doctorate programmes and provides regular placements. The post holder will work autonomously within British Psychological Society and NHS Trust professional guidelines.
Applicants must have completed or be about to complete an under-graduate degree in a subject that confers eligibility for graduate registration with the BPS. We may have other opportunities available within the Clinical Health Psychology service.
