The Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust is seeking a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist for an exciting development role aimed at newly qualifying psychologists to work in the Children's and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). Main duties of the job
- Working alongside other Psychologists, CAMHS practitioners and other clinicians offering psychological interventions to CYPs and their families.
- Assessment, formulation, consultation, and intervention for CYPs with an emphasis on child-centred and evidence-based care for those with moderate to severe mental health difficulties using a range of psychological interventions that best meets the needs of the YP and fits with the CAMH service criteria. This includes direct work with the YP, family or consultation/liaison with the network surrounding the child. You would be supported to develop specialist expertise with an active CPD plan.
- Work in collaboration with managers and senior clinicians (appropriate to the stage of your career development) supporting the MDTs through case discussions, formulation and care planning, as well as carrying a caseload.

Qualifications Essential
- BSc/BA Honours degree at 2:1 or above in Psychology
- Post graduate Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS
- Evidence of regular continuing profession
