The Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital is seeking a Band 7 Hospital Coordinator who is a registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with strong leadership and management experience. This role involves overseeing patient transfers and emergency admissions, ensuring safe patient placements, and managing the Trust's Out of Hours service. The Coordinator will assess patients, administer advanced clinical interventions, and support staff in caring for critically ill patients, while also monitoring bed occupancy and coordinating responses to critical incidents.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, the ability to manage change, and a commitment to high standards of nursing care. Essential qualifications include a degree in nursing or ODP, experience at Band 7 or equivalent, and ongoing professional development, including Advanced Life Support training. Desirable qualifications may include experience in cardiothoracic care and relevant teaching or clinical assessment certifications. This permanent full-time position offers a salary ranging from £46,148 to £52,809 per annum, contributing to the hospital's mission in providing specialist cardiothoracic services to a broad catchment area.
