NHS Scotland is seeking a Prescribing Support Pharmacy Technician for a part-time position in Livingston, as part of its Primary Care Pharmacy and Medicines Service. This role, situated within the West Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership, involves working collaboratively with GPs and a multidisciplinary team to enhance the quality and effectiveness of patient-centered pharmaceutical care. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and monitoring prescribing efficiency plans and will have opportunities to enhance their clinical and technical skills.

Candidates must possess a National Certificate in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent, along with current registration as a pharmacy technician, and should have relevant post-certification experience. While primary care experience is preferred, training will be provided. Key skills required include strong communication, IT proficiency, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
