The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester is seeking a full-time Clinical Support Worker (CSW) for their Proton Beam Therapy (PBT) Centre. This permanent role involves a blend of clerical and clinical responsibilities, focusing on patient support throughout their treatment journey. The CSW will work alongside radiographers, assisting in the production and maintenance of radiotherapy immobilisation devices, providing care such as changing dressings and recording clinical observations, as well as managing administrative tasks using Trust systems. Candidates are encouraged to have some healthcare experience, though training will be provided, and good IT and communication skills are essential for interacting with diverse patient populations, including children and their families.

The position entails working 37.5 hours per week in a flexible shift pattern, reflecting the evolving nature of the service.
