We currently have a vacancy for a Practitioner Psychologist or CBT Therapist to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will be based at HMP Featherstone, with potential to be required to work occasionally at HMP Oakwood.
This role involves the systematic provision of psychological services to individuals with complex mental health and health needs. As part of the Inclusion Health in Justice team, you will contribute to assessments, interventions, and consultations to enhance the psychological well-being of those in custody.

- Specialist Psychological Services: Deliver expert psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations for individuals with complex needs.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside multidisciplinary teams in a prison environment to support service users’ psychological recovery.
- Supervision & Training: Provide supervision to assistant psychologists, trainees, and other staff, while supporting their professional development.
- Research & Development: Employ research skills to contribute to service evaluations and evidence-based practice.
- Leadership: Participate in the development and governance of psychological services, ensuring alignment with best practices and policies.
Inclusion, created in 2002 is part of the Specialist Services Care Group of Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT).
