This is an exciting opportunity to obtain exposure in a diverse role within the divisional office function. As our Business Support Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our business operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will support the delivery of key objectives, through working closely with the Divisional Senior Management Team to co-ordinate business functions across the division and directly supporting the Divisional Director with all aspects of Divisional business. You will contribute to the business support function based in St Cadoc's Hospital on behalf of the Divisional team ensuring a quality business support service to the Divisional Senior Leadership Team, and also provide administrative support to members of the Senior Leadership Team where required. This post is a secondment for 6 months due to meet the needs of the service. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. Main duties of the job Main Duties You will work in partnership with other Business Support Managers and administrative staff to ensure the smooth running of business functions across the breadth of the Division to include QPS and all other Divisional Business. The Business Support Manager (BSM) will attend and provide secretarial support to senior meetings as directed by the Divisional Director. This includes arranging meetings, preparing papers, formal minute taking and maintenance of action logs. Provide project management support to the Division for a variety of relevant critical work stream areas relating to Mental Health & LD. The BSM will have opportunities to take the lead on small projects and specific pieces of work as required. Education And Qualifications Essential criteria Educated to degree level or equivalent demonstrable knowledge and experience Extensive use and knowledge of IT packages and applications, including Microsoft Office Evidence of further study and personal development.
