Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band A Dental Officer for their Special Care Dentistry (SCD) team. This permanent position is part-time, with the expectation of working two days per week, and offers the opportunity to develop clinical skills in SCD, including basic level IV sedation. The role involves providing dental care to adults with disabilities, medical and mental health issues, as well as those with severe dental phobia, and includes domiciliary care and supervision of dental students.

Candidates should possess experience in oral surgery, ideally from a hospital-based position of at least six months, and demonstrate teamwork and initiative. Full GDC registration and eligibility for the local NHS performers list are required, along with flexibility to work across various sites in Birmingham and the Black Country.
