The Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two Assistant Psychologists, one permanent and one fixed-term (12 months), to join its neurodiversity team focused on supporting children and young people with autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The role involves working under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist to assist in assessments, provide ongoing support to families, and develop psychological interventions aimed at enhancing the quality of life for affected children and their families. Responsibilities also include maintaining regular contact with families, participating in clinical administration, and contributing to multidisciplinary team efforts.

Candidates should possess a First or Upper Second honours degree in psychology or a relevant postgraduate qualification, alongside experience in supporting vulnerable individuals and working in a team setting. Additional training in young people's mental health and neurodiversity is desirable, as is prior experience in psychological assessment tasks.
