Spectrum Community Health CIC is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join the healthcare team at HMP Liverpool. This role involves providing an integrated, secure, and high-quality pharmaceutical service within the prison environment. Key responsibilities include administering and supplying medications to prisoners, optimizing medicines, and offering advice to staff and inmates. The role requires working on weekends and bank holidays, as well as being a core member of the Pharmacy Team interfacing with broader healthcare services.
New recruits will receive a £1,500 welcome payment. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist with the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high quality prison pharmaceutical service, taking into consideration, at all times, the need to maintain a high level of security.
The welcome payment is payable to new candidates joining Spectrum Community Health CIC.
The post holder will be an integral member of the Pharmacy Team, who form part of the wider healthcare. You will be required to work bank holidays and weekends and the role is based on the house blocks.
You will be required to support the delivery of Pharmacy Services which will include the administration and supply of medication to prisoners, medicines optimisation and providing advice to other colleagues and prisoners within your competency.
