Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 4 Dietetic Assistant for The Barberry in Birmingham, aimed at providing essential dietetic care to service users in mental health facilities. The role involves supporting the nutritional and hydration needs of inpatients and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver nutrition education and promote healthy lifestyles, particularly in Steps to Recovery Rehab units. The position is primarily Monday to Friday, with no weekend or bank holiday shifts required, and includes opportunities for professional development through regular supervision and support from senior team members.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of nutrition's role in healthcare and will be expected to travel to various Trust sites across the city. The role emphasises a commitment to improving physical health outcomes for individuals with mental health conditions and aims to provide a supportive and compassionate work environment that prioritizes the well-being of both staff and service users.
