Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking a Regional Patient Pathway Coordinator Support for their Regional Cataract Service in Cwmbrân. This fixed-term role, running until March 31, 2025, focuses on improving ophthalmology services across Southeastern Wales. Candidates should be organized, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and possess strong team leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide telephone support for Regional Ophthalmology services, managing outpatient and inpatient calls.
  • Assist the scheduling team by ensuring timely and accurate appointment bookings.
  • Offer clerical and reception support, maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including managers and clinical staff.

Requirements:

  • Essential: Good general education, clerical experience, computer literacy, strong communication skills, a professional demeanor on calls, and ability to prioritize workload.
