GatewayC is an online platform which delivers high quality resources support GPs and other primary care professionals in the early diagnosis of cancer. We are looking for an ambitious Marketing Assistant to support our marketing activities for GatewayC.You’ll be working as part of a friendly, motivated, and ambitious team. We have some exciting projects on the horizon which you’ll have the opportunity to be involved with and bring new ideas to the team We work on promoting courses, podcasts, videos and awareness campaigns to a range of primary care professionals. We work closely with partners, clinicians and charities to ensure that we’re creating engaging and accurate content.
We’re looking for someone with creative copywriting skills and imaginative use of social media. We would like someone who is keen to develop comms with impact.
You will have an ability to think creatively and follow direction, but also able to work independently, prioritising your workload.
We will expect you will have some understanding and experience of social media and other marketing techniques. You will have the opportunity to work as a member of a wide-ranging team which will include GPs, clinicians, charity leads, practice managers, educational experts and technical educators.

We provide radiotherapy through one of the largest radiotherapy departments in the world; chemotherapy on site and through 14 other hospitals; highly specialist surgery for complex and rare cancer; and a wide range of support and diagnostic services. We are also an international leader in research, with world first breakthroughs for over 100 years.
We run one of the largest early clinical trial units in Europe with over 300 trials every year. Cancer research in Manchester, most of which is undertaken on the Christie site, has been officially ranked the best in the UK.
