The Sterile Services Assistant role at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, based in Broadgreen Hospital, seeks a proactive individual with a "can do" attitude to join their Sterile Services Department. The position involves working as part of a dedicated team responsible for the decontamination and sterilisation of surgical instruments, ensuring compliance with strict health and safety regulations and international standards such as ISO13485. The successful candidate will receive training in the operation of sterilisation equipment and will also perform manual handling tasks, utilizing IT systems for tracking and labeling instruments.

This permanent position offers a weekly alternating shift schedule of 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week, with enhancements available. Candidates should possess good literacy and numeracy skills (minimum Grade C) and flexibility in driving departmental vehicles. Previous experience in a highly regulated environment is advantageous, and all training for the role will be provided.
