The role of Consultant in Haematology at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in Cottingham involves a combination of clinical care, teaching, and administrative responsibilities. The successful candidate will engage in direct clinical activities for 8 programmed activities (PAs) and dedicate 2 PAs to supporting activities such as audit, appraisal, and continuing professional development (CPD). Participation in medical education, including supervising trainees and contributing to undergraduate teaching, is also expected. The position includes financial support for CPD and a commitment to clinical governance.

Candidates must hold full GMC registration and be on track to complete specialist registration, alongside having appropriate qualifications like MRCP(UK) or equivalent.
