Job Summary The Service Support Co-ordinator is responsible for providing daily operational management support to the Head of Pharmacy Clinical Trials & Advanced Therapies. Compliance and reporting are also part of their role, ensuring that all non-clinical activities comply with relevant regulations and standards, and preparing reports as needed. Main duties of the job The Service Support Co-ordinator is entrusted with making independent decisions in the day-to-day operations of the service without needing constant supervision. This autonomy allows them to address routine issues, manage tasks, and ensure the smooth functioning of non-clinical aspects of the service. Their ability to make informed decisions quickly and effectively is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency. When the Head of Pharmacy Clinical Trials & Advanced Therapies is unavailable, the Service Support Co-ordinator steps in to cover their responsibilities. This requires a comprehensive understanding of the key non-clinical issues that may arise within the service. They must be well-versed in the operational challenges and be able to identify and address any problems that occur. This knowledge enables them to brief senior stakeholders, such as the General Manager or Chief Pharmacist, accurately and confidently.
