Carefound Home Care is seeking compassionate and experienced individuals to fill the role of Live-In Care Assistant in York and surrounding areas, including Cheshire, Nottinghamshire, and Yorkshire. The position is ideal for those already working as live-in carers or with professional backgrounds in care assistant roles within domiciliary or residential settings. Key responsibilities include providing personal care, companionship, assistance with mobility, medication management, and general housekeeping, all while living in the client's home for designated periods. The role offers an attractive employment package with a pay range of £742 to £963 weekly, paid travel expenses, free accommodation and food during placements, and additional benefits such as paid holidays and a pension scheme.
The ideal candidates should demonstrate a warm and positive attitude and possess at least 12 months of relevant professional care experience. While a driving license and personal vehicle are advantageous, they are not mandatory. Carefound Home Care emphasises career progression, with opportunities for training and development, along with robust support from a dedicated care management team.
