Stratum Dermatology Clinics in Wimbledon is seeking a part-time Healthcare Assistant to support consultant dermatologists under the supervision of the Lead Nurse. Key responsibilities include assisting with consultations and minor surgeries, performing venesection, conducting wound checks, and maintaining infection control standards. The role emphasises high standards of clinical care while managing stock and ensuring adherence to clinical audits and governance policies.
Candidates must hold at least a Care Certificate and demonstrate a strong passion for patient care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a team. We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to work part-time at Stratum Dermatology Clinics Wimbledon. The successful candidate will undertake clinical activities as directed and under the supervision of the Lead Nurse.

- Supporting our consultant dermatologists with consultations and surgical assistance in theatre (minor surgeries)
- Venesection
- Wound checks, dressing change, and stitch removal post-surgery
- Maintaining infection control standards in line with CQC
- daily clinic checks
- Maintaining stock
- Promoting high standards of clinical care to our patients across the board
- Ensuring clinical audits, policies, procedures, and medical governance standards
- Care Certificate or higher
- A real passion for patient care and delivering
- A good understanding of CQC policies relating to a clinical environment
- Good communicator and team player
