The NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a motivated Pharmacy Technician for the Older People Services at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital/Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow. The role involves working 5 days a week, including weekends, extended hours, and public holidays. The successful candidate will provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to over 200 patients with conditions such as frailty, stroke, and rehabilitation needs. Key responsibilities include obtaining medication histories, educating patients about high-risk medicines, and facilitating the admission and discharge processes. The position entails collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and may involve training staff and supporting dispensary activities.

Candidates must have an NC in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent, be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council, and possess an accredited final accuracy checking qualification. Strong motivation, leadership skills, and good communication abilities are essential.
