The North London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a creative and dedicated Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to support young adults aged 18-25 in navigating the transition from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) to Adult Mental Health Services (AMHS). The successful candidate will work within a newly developed team integrated into Adult Community Mental Health Teams, focusing on building therapeutic relationships and developing personalized transition plans that consider the diverse needs of young individuals and their families.

In this role, the psychologist will utilize various psychological approaches, including AMBIT and THRIVE, to co-design service pathways with input from young people and families, while also supervising peer workers and community engagement practitioners. Candidates should have a passion for mental health care and a commitment to improving the experiences of this age group, ensuring that their voices are central to service design and delivery. Flexibility in working locations across North London may be required as part of the position.
