The University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Patient Access Clerk for the Breast Surgery unit in Brighton. This is a Band 3 position, offering 34 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday from 8 am to 5 pm). The role involves supporting clinical and nursing teams in Breast Surgery & Oncology, managing patient bookings from referral to outpatient attendance, and ensuring compliance with patient access policies and targets.

Candidates should possess administrative experience, a good education level, computer skills, and experience in customer service. Strong communication, organisational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. Duties include collaborating with medical staff, analyzing patient data, and recommending policy changes to enhance patient access services.
