NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse for Ward 1C at Gartnavel General Hospital, specializing in Ophthalmology inpatient care. The role entails providing pre- and post-operative care in a busy clinical environment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must possess a current NMC UK pin and demonstrate flexibility, effective communication skills, and a strong interest in the specialty. While surgical inpatient experience is preferred, full training will be provided. The position involves a shift pattern of day and night duties, and applicants should be prepared to adapt to evolving work conditions as NHS Scotland moves towards a reduced full-time working week from April 2024.
