Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust is hiring for a permanent and a fixed-term Link Worker position within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Liverpool. The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on collaboration with schools and other agencies to support children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between schools and the mental health service, adhering to the 2017 Green Paper recommendations.
  • Provide rapid advice, consultation, and signposting for children aged 5-18.
  • Conduct specialist assessments and create evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Manage risk assessments and coordinate care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with families and professionals involved in the child's care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and record clinical outcomes.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, young people, and families, especially those at risk of social exclusion.
  • Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
