The Stockport NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Dietitian Team Lead for the Patient Education Service due to the retirement of the current post holder. This role, part of the Integrated Nutrition and Dietetic Service, involves managing group education for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes and delivering the Expert Patient Programme. The successful candidate will oversee course delivery, manage waiting lists, ensure training compliance, and promote education courses to GPs and specialists.

Responsibilities include line management of the dietitian team, coordinating diabetes and EPP courses, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. Flexibility in scheduling courses is required. The ideal applicant will have expertise in long-term conditions and diabetes, along with strong communication and organisational skills. Additionally, the role involves contributing to the training of assistants and students, developing services, supporting strategic planning, and enhancing the nutrition and dietetic service delivery.
