The Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is inviting applications for the position of Junior Clinical Spinal Fellow in Trauma & Orthopaedics, starting August 6, 2025. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of nine Spinal Orthopaedic Consultants at both the University Hospital of Wales and Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital for Wales. They will gain extensive experience in various spinal surgery procedures, including treatment for degenerative diseases, tumors, and scoliosis, and engage in an active research program supported by the Welsh Institute for Spinal Trauma & Surgery.

Although the role operates at a specialty registrar level and includes participation in the on-call rota, it is not associated with a National Training Number and lacks educational approval.
