The Dermatology Partnership is seeking a part-time Healthcare Assistant for the Stratum Dermatology Clinics in Wimbledon, London. The role involves supporting consultant dermatologists with consultations and minor surgical procedures, wound care, and maintaining infection control standards. The assistant will also be responsible for stock management and promoting high standards of clinical care in line with CQC regulations.
Candidates should possess at least a Care Certificate or higher, demonstrate a passion for patient care, and have a good understanding of CQC policies. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively are essential. We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to work part-time at Stratum Dermatology Clinics Wimbledon. The successful candidate will undertake clinical activities as directed and under the supervision of the Lead Nurse.
Duties And Responsibilities Include
Supporting our consultant dermatologists with consultations and surgical assistance in theatre (minor surgeries)
Venesection
Wound checks, dressing change, and stitch removal post-surgery
Maintaining infection control standards in line with CQC
daily clinic checks
Maintaining stock
Promoting high standards of clinical care to our patients across the board
Ensuring clinical audits, policies, procedures, and medical governance standards
Skills And Qualifications
Care Certificate or higher

A good understanding of CQC policies relating to a clinical environment
