The Out of Hours Service Desk Operative role at Whiston Hospital, within the Informatics Department of Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, involves providing first-line telephone support for IT issues outside normal office hours. The position is full-time, consisting of 37.5 hours per week, and is classified as Band 3. Key responsibilities include incident management, request fulfilment, and ensuring effective communication while maintaining professional relationships with partners and customers of the Mid Mersey Digital Alliance. Candidates are expected to have significant experience in IT support, strong customer care skills, and knowledge of Microsoft products.
