NHS Grampian is seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals for the position of Assistant Technical Officer in Decontamination Services in Aberdeen. The successful candidates will join a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the decontamination of reusable medical devices, catering to Theatres, Clinics, and other patient treatment areas within the NHS Grampian network. No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive in-house training will be provided over a two-year period. Flexibility in working hours is essential due to a shift system in place.

Candidates will be required to meet the mandatory induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and adhere to the Code of Conduct throughout their employment. We require enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team responsible for the decontamination of reusable medical devices.

The post holder will become part of a multi-disciplinary team providing a high quality decontamination service to Theatres, Clinics and other patient treatment areas across

NHS Grampian.

Previous experience is not required as full training is provided in house over a period of two years.

A shift system is in place and you will be expected to be completely flexible in your hours of work to suit the needs of the service.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
