The South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a dedicated Assistant Psychologist to join the Southwark CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Service. Candidates should hold a first degree in psychology with at least a 2:1 and be eligible for British Psychological Society Graduate Basis for Chartership. Preference will be given to those with prior clinical and research experience, particularly in data and statistical analysis. The role offers diverse clinical experiences under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist, with responsibilities including conducting individual screenings, co-facilitating therapeutic groups, and participating in service development and audits.

The Southwark CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Service is a multidisciplinary team focused on providing assessments and evidence-based therapies for children and young individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism and ADHD. The team employs various intervention strategies, including parenting support groups and adapted CBT, and emphasises academic collaboration and continuous professional development. The position is based at Sunshine House in Peckham, with potential travel to community sites as required.
