VSA, a well-established charity in Aberdeen, is seeking motivated and compassionate individuals for part-time Support Worker positions at Northfield Lodge, which offers 24-hour residential support for adults with enduring mental health issues. The role involves providing person-centered care, promoting independence, and assisting service users in daily activities while ensuring their safety and well-being.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with service users and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide personal care and support based on individual needs.
  • Encourage social interaction and skill development.
  • Assist in developing and reviewing personal care plans.
  • Participate in training and development to enhance service quality.


Qualifications:

  • Willingness to obtain SCQF Level 6 in Social Services and Healthcare within three years.
  • Prior experience is beneficial but not required as training will be provided.


Working Conditions:

  • 28 hours per week on a four-week rolling rota, including early and late shifts as well as weekend work.
  • Salary: £12.20 per hour.
