NHS Scotland is seeking a full-time Staff Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) for the Woodend Theatres in Aberdeen, specializing in Anaesthetics and Scrub, within an elective Orthopaedic Suite that features 6 theatres and 2 recovery areas with a total of 12 beds. The role involves providing care for patients undergoing a variety of elective and trauma-related orthopaedic procedures, including surgeries on shoulders, feet, necks, and spines. While experience is preferred, in-house training will be offered, and candidates will need to complete required competencies. Part-time work may also be considered.

The position operates Monday to Friday, and successful candidates may be eligible for a relocation allowance of up to £8,000. We currently have a vacancy for a full time Staff Nurse/ODP in Woodend Theatres in Anaesthetics & Scrub. This is an elective Orthopaedic Suite with 6 theatres and 2 recoveries - 12 beds in total in recovery.

The post is full time although part time may be considered.

We care for patients who are receiving Orthopaedic procedures. The Surgery which is mostly elective with some trauma is very wide and with a variety of procedure from shoulders to feet. We also do neck surgery, spinal surgery and tumour surgery. We presently work Monday to Friday.

Experience is an advantage but not essential as in-house training will be given. You will be required to complete competencies.
