Bluecrest Wellness is seeking a Health and Wellbeing Coach for a full-time, up to 12-month maternity cover contract in Worthing, West Sussex, with a salary of £25,000 per year (pro rata). The role involves providing personalized coaching to clients following their Health Assessments, using motivational interviewing techniques to help them set and achieve health goals. The coach will engage with customers via Microsoft Teams, respond to queries regarding assessment results, and maintain high standards of communication and service quality. - After qualifying period & subject to terms and conditions and/or eligibility.
- Providing a high standard of 1:1 personalised coaching to customers who have had a Bluecrest Health Assessment: these sessions will be held remotely via Microsoft Teams video calls.
- Using motivational interviewing to support and guide customers as well as supporting customers to achieve set goals and creating individual programs for each customer.
- Responding confidently to questions and queries regarding customers assessment results.
- Ensuring your knowledge and understanding of the tests and results Bluecrest provides is always kept up to date
- Ensuring that all customer interactions remain of the highest quality, engaging our customers to make them feel at ease and leaving them confident in our services. You will be knowledgeable, polite and helpful during each interaction.
- Attending all training as required and keep up to date with clinical and wellbeing skills and knowledge.
- Working with sensitive data, actively listening, and using a range of communication methods when providing information
- Connecting into the webcam-based link to connect with the customer; ensuring you are available at the allocated time of appointment
- Liaising with both external suppliers and customers regarding their results.
- Handling critical and priority results
- Organising the distribution of customer results.
- Checking customer reports for discrepancies and errors.
What we need you to have (the must-haves) …

- Hard working and honest
- Computer literate - Office 365 experience, and all Microsoft Office tools
- Highly organised with an analytical mindset
- Excel at multi-tasking and pay great attention to detail
- The ability to meet tight deadlines
- Confidence to carry out 1:1 appointments on screen
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must have a professional telephone, webcam, and face to face manner
- Must have suitable location at home to work, as well as relevant technological set up (Wi-fi).
- Previous experience dealing with customers first hand in a face to face, telephone or video call setting
- Background in health care, sports science, personal training, or wellbeing
- Experience in a similar health care or coaching role
- Experience supporting customers in the 50+ age group
- Health coaching qualification
- Whilst experience in the medical profession is not required an interest in health care/fitness is desirable.
- Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm
- Working 1 in 9 Saturdays (if you work a Saturday, you will get a day off during the week)
- First 1-2 weeks in office for training
- Following training, the role is Hybrid (1-2 days per week in the office)
