WithYou is seeking an experienced Non Medical Prescriber (NMP) for its North Somerset drug and alcohol service, focusing on delivering high-quality recovery care to a diverse clientele. The ideal candidate must have completed an appropriate prescribing course and hold entry on the NMC or GPhC register. Responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, diagnoses, and managing treatment in line with organisational and national guidelines, while staying updated on treatment developments. The NMP will also assess and triage clients, provide detoxification advice, and support vaccination and blood testing programs.

Our North Somerset drug and alcohol service is recruiting for an experienced Non Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join us in providing high quality recovery care to a diverse client group.
Please be aware that you must have successfully completed the supplementary/independent prescribing course and hold an appropriate entry on the NMC register or GPhC register to be considered for this position.
As an NMP you will be responsible for carrying out clinical assessment, diagnosis and clinical management in line with both WithYou and National regulations, policies and procedures. You will be eager to keep up to date with developments in the treatments that you are prescribing and help WithYou to develop, implement and evaluate the interventions we use with our clients. These include harm reduction and providing support and advice in relation to substance use. You will also assess, screen and triage clients, advise on detoxification where appropriate and support with vaccination and blood testing programmes.
You'll work closely with the Operational and Clinical Leadership along with our Recovery Workers to ensure that the clinical and psychosocial needs of the individual are met and that prescribing is safe, effective and in accordance with best practice while meeting the individual needs of the client.
