The Relief Social Worker role at Midnight Mixtape, based in Aberdeenshire Children's Homes, involves providing compassionate and trauma-informed care to small groups of young people aged 11 to 18. The position requires adherence to 'The Promise,' focusing on supporting the young individuals in building healthy relationships and maintaining connections with their families and friends, all within a non-judgmental and nurturing environment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a dedicated team, adhere to relevant legislation, and contribute to continuous service improvement.

The position is for relief staff who can cover shifts as needed, primarily during weekdays and weekends, across four children's homes in the region. Applicants must possess a strong commitment to advocating for young people's rights and must complete required background checks under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Additionally, candidates are expected to provide references from previous employers and exhibit good availability for shift work.
