Indus Paper Boards Pvt Ltd is seeking a full-time Care Assistant for a teenage disabled man in Bristol, offering a pay rate of £11.44 per hour. The role involves supporting the young man, referred to as J, in accessing community activities such as attending museums, concerts, and engaging in sports like golf and wheelchair basketball. The caregiver may also assist with some personal care tasks and is expected to help J become more independent through social engagement.
Candidates must be non-smokers with a full UK driving license to operate a Motability vehicle. Key attributes include being responsible, reliable, and possessing good communication skills, with previous personal assistant experience considered advantageous. The position requires approximately 8 hours of work per week, ideally spread over two half days, with the flexibility to adjust for outings. The role's start date is as soon as possible, subject to a DBS check funded by the employer.

Good communication and social skills. To respect confidentiality and privacy.Location: Patchway, South Gloucestershire.Hours: 8 hours per week, preferably two half days per week (there is flexibility with the days). Although if J wants to go on a day trip it might be the full 8 hours over one day.
Pay: £11.88 per hour.
