The role of Senior Clinician/CBT Therapist at Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Chertsey involves leading integrated mental health support within schools as part of a Mental Health Support Team (MHST). The position focuses on delivering evidence-based interventions for children and young people up to 18 years old experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, while also mentoring and supervising newly qualified Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs). The Senior Clinician will be responsible for fostering high-quality clinical practices, building relationships with school leaders, and collaborating on programs that promote whole school mental health approaches, alongside maintaining a small caseload to provide direct support to young people and their families.
