We have a vacancy for an Independent Living Officer taking a lead in supporting customers who live in Sheltered Housing, whilst also providing a comprehensive housing management service.
Assessing risk and working effectively with in-house teams and external statutory and voluntary agencies (such as Social Care) for the benefit of customers is key to success in this role.
We are looking for someone whose previous experience of working with vulnerable individuals in a supportive capacity will empower customers to achieve successful outcomes and continue living independently. Passion, self-motivation, persistence & determination are skills required from the successful candidate to engage & support customers with a range of complex needs.
Candidates will have robust IT skills in order to effectively caseload manage as well as utilise Microsoft packages. Previous experience of clear & accurate recording of customer interventions is also required.
A driving licence & access to a vehicle is necessary for this role.
