The role of Project Co-ordinator at Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust, in collaboration with Tripple Tree Ltd, involves supporting the IM Programme and Project Management Team in delivering effective project management services aligned with local and national priorities. The Project Co-ordinator will assist the Programme/Project Manager in task scheduling, project planning, monitoring progress, and stakeholder communication to ensure project deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. The position requires analytical skills for conflict resolution and successful project implementation, along with collaboration with other teams for best practices and stakeholder management.

The successful candidate will help develop work packages, facilitate project meetings, ensure compliance with business requirements via process mapping, and contribute to business continuity plans. The aim of the IM Programme and Project Management Team is to provide a customer orientated service to meet the business requirements of IM Partner Organisations (POs) in line with the local and National IM&T priorities and strategies. This service includes the full management of Programmes and Projects (that will cover acute, mental health, community and primary care) from initiation to closure, as well as providing advice and expertise in this area. All activities will utilise appropriate tools and methodologies such as Prince and MSP.

The role of Project Co-ordinator is to provide deployment support in respect of allocated projects and work packages.

To assist the Programme/Project manager in identifying and scheduling tasks needed to implement specific projects.
To produce and regularly update project plans and reports according to internal project governance standards (PRINCE2).
To work collaboratively with the Business Change Manager/Project Manager in identifying operational workflow, procedures, deployment schedules, potential service realignment and expected benefits of the project. 4. Communicate with stakeholders, Project Teams and all levels of Trust staff to generate commitment and enthusiasm and persuade potential users to accept change.
Monitor the progress of the project against agreed targets, highlighting any untoward issues contribute to the adjustment of plans so that the deliverables are on time, to specified quality and within budget.
To identify and evaluate potential conflicts which could compromise the successful completion of a project and report accordingly recommending remedial action.
To exercise analytical and judgemental skills to support project implementations by highlighting option appraisals.
To work collaboratively with other IM services teams providing all levels of support, advice and guidance throughout all stages of project implementation.

To develop specific work packages to implement applications within the remit of the role.
Schedule, attend and service project work stream meetings.
To assist the Programme/project manager with communications planning and stakeholder management.
To work with IM and PO staff, where appropriate, to secure successful project deployment and ensure that best practice and standards are adopted and adhered to.
To assist with the development of business continuity plans for use during project implementations and for ongoing use post go-live.
Use appropriate methods and sources to obtain and record data for project monitoring and reporting.
Assist with the preparation of appropriate plans, documentation and procedures prior to handing a project over to business as usual, as part of project closure.
Attend meetings as necessary, to discuss project priorities, report progress and resolve issues.
To assist other departmental managers and colleagues by providing expert advice or support when appropriate.
Working with business change where appropriate, to ensure the applications are compliant with end-users business process requirements. This includes process mapping and a sound knowledge of systems and thorough acceptance testing.
