NHS Grampian Dental Services, in collaboration with Aberdeen Dental Hospital, is seeking a Trainee Dental Nurse for an 18-month fixed-term training contract. Ideal candidates should be enthusiastic, caring, and enjoy working in a team environment while pursuing a career in Dental Nursing. The role involves working closely with dental professionals in a clinical setting and participating in a theory-based training program designed to achieve the SQA SVQ Dental Nursing qualification, which is necessary for registration with the General Dental Council.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 National Grade level or equivalent qualifications, including English and a Science. The position requires a full-time commitment with a flexible approach to work patterns and locations, as self-directed study is a key component of the training. The role will consist of 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with a salary starting at 70% of Band 4, and interviews are scheduled for February 18 or 20.
