Aneurin Bevan University Health Board in Cwmbrân is seeking a dedicated Health Care Support Worker for its Critical Care unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a track record of reliability. A flexible work approach is beneficial, and the ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete a locally approved orientation program.
  • Provide patient-focused support, assisting with physical, spiritual, and psychological comfort.
  • Participate in patient care under the supervision of registered nurses, including nutritional assistance and monitoring patient conditions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and establish good relationships with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Contribute to health promotion and illness prevention efforts as directed.
