Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking full-time Assistant Psychologists for a fixed-term role of 6 months to support Mental Health Support Teams in Schools (MHSTs) in Bournemouth, covering maternity leave. Candidates should have an honours degree in Psychology and experience working with individuals experiencing mental health difficulties. The position involves providing one-on-one support to children and young people with mild to moderate mental health needs through low intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (LI CBT) or counselling, as well as facilitating group activities and promoting emotional wellbeing across the school community.

In this role, you will collaborate with Education Mental Health Practitioners and other team members to deliver targeted interventions, conduct assessments, and contribute to the development and implementation of whole school initiatives.
